Earlier this month David took part in the 60 Hour Film Challenge at the Colchester Film Festival by composing the score for Inductions, a 5-minute short directed by Elisa Kujala and produced by the London Short Film Meetup Group.
Telling a short story of abuse and fragile trust within the private moments of a relationship, Inductions utilises an electroacoustic score to create a soundtrack that moves from being warm and comforting to edgy and dangerous as the drama drastically and suddenly changes.
As part of the challenge the entire film was made over a single weekend, with production on Saturday, editing on Sunday morning, post-production (including the music scoring) on Sunday afternoon, and dubbing on Sunday evening.
